DRS Protect, Inc. actively strives to build a foundation for exemplary people who wish to achieve their aspirations in a respectful, prosperous, and rewarding environment. We place a heavy emphasis on valuing our employees and will provide career opportunities for those who wish to exceed their current role. From full benefits and livable wages to holiday pay, recognition programs, annual bonuses, referral commissions, and competitive pay rates, we make sure our employees are taken care of so they are willing and able to take care of our customers.
DRS Protect proudly partners with Connecteam, a comprehensive native application builder that centralizes automated reports, communication, business workflow, and training for all employees in the field. This eliminates time-consuming office visits and allows us to minimize costly administrative salaries so we can compensate our employees well while offering our services at competitive rates.
Our officers must successfully pass an extensive criminal background investigation and drug screening prior to employment, and will always be prepared to work in compliance with local and federal law. Customers may request additional or specific screening if desired.
DRS Protect continually implements and enforces policy and procedure dedicated to safer workplace practices and complements this with worker’s compensation, general liability, and commercial auto insurance.
To maintain a security guard license, employees are required to undergo an initial eight hours of Power to Arrest, Terrorism Awareness, Weapons of Mass Destruction training, and 32 hours of continued training. Our officers will also receive training specific to your site policy and procedures, including how to properly handle incidents on the field and see it through a court of law if necessary. This includes your community or business rules and regulations so they understand expectations and can enforce the rules fairly and impartially.
Customers always have the option of security officers with advanced training. This includes but is not limited to, CPR/1st Aid/AED, Baton, Taser, Handcuffing, Defensive Tactics, Chemical Agents, Investigative Report Writing, Cultural Diversity and Discrimination, Property Crimes, Preliminary Investigations, Vehicle Approaches, Vehicle Operations, Victimology/Crisis Intervention, Juvenile Law & Procedure, Handling Disputes/Crowd Control, Weapons Violations, Sex Crimes, Alcohol Beverage Control Law, Crimes Against Children, Missing Persons, Use of Force, Unusual Occurrences, People with Disabilities, Search and Seizure, Crimes Against Persons, Crimes in Progress, Emergency Management, Hazardous Materials, Controlled Substances, Gang Awareness and Urban Street Gang Enforcement, Community-Oriented Patrolling, Custody, Criminal Justice System, General Criminal Statutes, Presentation of Evidence, Domestic Violence, Patrol Techniques, Introduction to Criminal Law, California Residential Landlord/Tenant Preventative Law, Traffic Accidents, Leadership Professionalism & Ethics, and Parking Enforcement.
